The Municipality of Corvo promotes Corvo as a destination at BTL 2025 in Lisbon

The Municipality of Corvo participated in BTL – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market 2025, the largest tourism fair in the country, held from 12 to 16 March at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), strengthening the promotion of the island as a destination of nature, authenticity, and sustainability.

Integrated within the Azores stand, alongside other municipalities and regional companies, Corvo took advantage of this important national and international showcase to promote the island’s potential to industry professionals, tour operators, and visitors.

During the event, the Municipality highlighted Corvo’s uniqueness as the smallest island in the Azores, promoting its scenic richness, natural and cultural heritage, as well as experiences related to sustainable tourism, birdwatching, hiking, and the tranquillity of a unique Atlantic destination.

Participation in BTL also made it possible to strengthen institutional and commercial contacts, create new promotional opportunities, and enhance Corvo’s visibility in the national market, at a time when the Azores continue to establish themselves as a destination of excellence, recognised for their quality, authenticity, and commitment to sustainability.

Throughout the event, the Azores stand welcomed thousands of visitors and featured a diverse programme of presentations, meetings, and promotional activities, contributing to the enhancement of tourism across all the islands.

With this presence at BTL 2025, the Municipality of Corvo reaffirms its commitment to promoting the territory, attracting visitors, and developing sustainable and balanced tourism capable of generating value for the local economy while preserving the island’s identity.
