This building is part of the physical structure of the Corvo Ecomuseum and was repurposed in 2007. Located in the historic centre of Vila do Corvo, it stands out for the simplicity of its architecture, preserving the original layout of the house and the authenticity of its basalt construction.
Today, the space hosts the permanent exhibition “Corvo Island – Traces of a Past”, which showcases a range of movable heritage objects related to weaving, agriculture, daily life, carpentry, and woodworking. Through these elements, it preserves and shares key aspects of the history and collective memory of the Corvo community.
