The Holy Spirit Empire of Vila do Corvo is located in Largo do Outeiro. This religious building dates back to the 19th century and is protected under Resolution no. 69/97 of 10 April by the Regional Government of the Azores. It is also included in the Inventory of Historical and Religious Heritage of Corvo Island.
The structure is characterised by its rectangular layout and single storey. Built in stone masonry, it was later plastered and painted white, with the exception of the base, cornerstones, cornice, and window and door frames, which are painted in light grey.
The decorative elements on the façade are made of exposed stone, without any additional colouring beyond the natural tone of the material.
The front façade is symmetrical, featuring two doors and two windows. At its centre, there is an ornamental element composed of a pilaster topped by a Crown of the Holy Spirit and an inscription bearing the date 1871. The building has a gabled roof covered with industrial half-round tiles, and includes a small bell gable crowned with pinnacles.
