A group of three fixed windmills located along Caminho dos Moinhos. This built ensemble is protected under Resolution no. 69/97 of April 10, issued by the Regional Government of the Azores. Dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries, the windmills are part of the Inventory of Historical and Religious Heritage of Corvo Island.
The complex consists of three fixed windmills with a truncated conical structure built in stone masonry. Two of the windmills are plastered and whitewashed with lime. Each features a مخروط-shaped rotating wooden roof, from which extends a mast supporting a triangular sail — a rare design in the Azores.
The windmills stand on elevated circular bases. Their only opening is the entrance door, positioned above the base and accessed via symmetrical flights of steps that converge against the conical structure.
